I also use a JETech 0884 Bluetooth mouse on a Dell 7275 Windows 10 laptop which has limited USB ports. I similar the fact that the JETech 0884 does not crave a USB port for a receiver, but only uses the laptop'south standard Bluetooth.

Bluetooth does occasionally have problems when a diversity of devices are connected via Bluetooth. I had the same "flashing red light, can't connect" problem with this mouse. I was able to prepare information technology by "restarting from scratch":

  • Remove the mouse device from the laptop's Bluetooth command panel.
Settings > Devices > Bluetooth > Click JETech 0884 in list > Click "Remove Device"
  • Remove and reinsert the mouse'southward bombardment (essentially to reboot the mouse)
  • Turn Bluetooth OFF on the laptop, then turn it ON again.
  • Press the black push button on the lesser of the mouse to restart the Bluetooth pairing process.

After a minute or less to reinstall the mouse driver, the mouse was all happy & connected again.

I likewise turned off Bluetooth on whatever other nearby devices (similar my smartphone and a Bluetooth stylus this laptop comes with), and so that the laptop and mouse could just focus on each other, without distractions or conflicting Bluetooth signals. That seems to help besides.

When it is "Connected", this Bluetooth mouse is quick & responsive, simply information technology will lose connection on occasion, which is annoying. If you have the USB ports to spare, a standard, wired mouse will always be more reliable.
